Naiyer Imam, MD, MSc - chairman & Ceo

Dr. Naiyer Imam is serving as the chairman and CEO of Advanced Medical Imaging, LLC, a new-generation teleradiology corporation that he co-founded in 2009. Dr. Imam is also the president and co-founder of CareRad, LLC, a developing chain of interventional radiology centers based in New York. He has previously served as medical director for the publicly traded corporation, NightHawk Radiology Services and was the chairman and founder of American Teleradiology Nighthawks (ATN), one of the premier pioneering teleradiology companies that have reshaped the field of radiology. American Teleradiology Nighthawks merged with NightHawk Radiology Holdings in September of 2005, and the combined company went public in February 2006 (NASDAQ: NHWK) with market cap over 700M at time of IPO. 

Dr Imam has also previously served as chairman of Medical Imaging Specialists, a radiology corporation that he founded in Virginia, which served as a base for a number of imaging centers and surgical centers that Dr. Imam developed. Dr. Imam also served as chairman of a number of radiology departments at hospitals ranging in size from a large city hospital, Lewis-Gale Medical Center to a rural community hospital, Pulaski Community Hospital. 

In 1999 Dr. Imam founded, a WebMD competitor and medical search engine and knowledge base corporation, and raised 10 million dollars funding from AmGen Corporation for this company. In 2000, Dr. Imam co-founded PanteQ Corporation, a software development company with offices in Boston and New Delhi, India. In 2002, Dr. Imam founded the Center for Advanced Imaging in Roanoke, Virginia. Subsequently, Dr. Imam developed additional imaging centers in Nebraska, Mississippi and Dubai as well as an ambulatory surgical center in Roanoke, Virginia, the Center for Surgical Excellence. 

Dr. Imam received a Bachelor's of  Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as a medical degree at an accelerated program from Brown University. Dr. Imam obtained a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics at Harvard University. Dr. Imam completed his radiology training at USF in Florida and neuroradiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, MD. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Dr. Imam is well published in the medical and radiological literature and is recognized as a leading physician, computer scientist and businessman. Dr Imam has also developed patent-pending efficiency software for medicine and radiology, including the Virtual Reading Machine


Sarwar Khobaib, MD brings a broad-based educational and experience platform to AMI's Software Development and Quality Control function. Dr. Khobaib responsibilities include the strategic development and maturation of the organization's proprietary, patent-pending, industry-leading radiology software and related quality controls to ensure AMI's highest standards of quality in the health care field.

Prior to joining AMI, Dr. Khobaib was the Director of Operations for Pediatric Radiology of America (PRA), a highly-successful Teleradiology company.  At PRA, he developed the operational processes and related quality controls to advance the start-up organization into the nation's first and only successful niche Teleradiology entities.

In addition to his 11-year Teleradiology tenure, Dr. Khobaib has extensive management experience at 2 different New York City area primary care facilities to accompany his expertise stemming from a senior management position at Multivera Corporation, a healthcare management firm.

Dr. Khobaib completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University and received his M.D. from the Saba University School of Medicine.




Sultan Maalik is an entrepreneur with a diverse resume of business experience. Mr. Maalik spent seven years with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and another 18 years in retail and international trade. As chairman and CEO of Eupean International, Mr. Maalik made a name for himself in the purchasing, processing and manufacturing of precious stones, while coordinating world-wide offices in New York, India, Brazil and Portugal. Mr. Maalik is a founding partner and Board member in Medial Marshal Networks, Inc., a multimedia content management company focused primarily in healthcare and education. He is also one of the founders of US Radiology Solutions, a Teleradiology corporation in partnership with one of the largest chains of independent imaging centers.

MR. Marcus R. Mclemore, VP of sales & business development

Heading up AMI's Sales and Marketing function, Mr. McLemore brings nearly 15 years of incomparable experience in the Radiology Industry. He will oversee all of the organization's new sales channels, customer service quality and control, as well as developing AMI's innovative, strategic advertising and communications in the Radiology industry.

Prior to joining AMI, Mr. McLemore, managed the Hospital Business Unit for Virtual Radiology (Ticker: VRAD -NASDAQ), driving sales revenue to surpass the company's chief competitor, Nighthawk Radiology Services (Ticker: NHWK-NASDAQ). He was a key note speaker the at National Rural Health Association conventions while at VRAD.

Before joining VRAD, Mr. McLemore was the Senior Sales Manager for American Teleradiology Nighthawks, Inc. (ATN). At ATN, he was responsible for growing revenues over 300% while doubling the company's market share. Concurrently, ATN yielded an industry record, 0% bad debt write-off, based on development and implementation of Mr. McLemore's customer service policies and procedures. 

Mr. McLemore was named outstanding sophomore while attending Mountain View College, where he received his degree.
